Spin-Off Puppy Chow

"Like puppy chow, but with a few different ingredients. Great for people who are allergic to peanuts or cannot have milk chocolate."

Ingredients :

  • 9 cups crispy rice cereal squares (such as Rice Chex ®)
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seed butter
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups confectioners sugar, or more to taste

Instructions :

Prep : 15M Cook : 12M Ready in : 15M
  • Place cereal squares in a bowl.
  • Combine white chocolate chips, sunflower seed butter, and butter in a microwave-safe bowl; heat in microwave until melted and smooth, about 1 1/2 minutes. Stir chocolate mixture; add vanilla extract and stir. Pour chocolate mixture over cereal; stir to evenly coat. Add confectioners' sugar and stir until evenly coated.

Notes :

  • You can also pour the chocolate-coated cereal and confectioners' sugar in a bag that zips shut; shake it until coated.
